My name is Luca Zappala, I’m a Senior Effects Technical Director and Visual Effects Artist.

I work in the film industry specializing in effects, particles, dynamics, and Research & Development. I'm currently working on my 10th feature film and have previously worked on various TV projects and videogames.

Australia has been nominated for the Academy award for Best Visual effects.

The Golden Compass has won the 2008 Academy award for Best Visual effects and Bafta 2007 for Film Special Visual Effects.
